In a global information era of rapid development, enterprise’s competition is the competition between supply chain more and more, any company only with other enterprises to form the effective supply chain is likely to gain market competitive advantage, enterprise’s relationship with suppliers has risen to the strategic partner relationship, which is both have close relationship belongs to the "same boat", supplier management, as a high performance of the supply chain of powerful weapon, its importance has long been recognized by business operators and expert, so to speak, how to elTectively manage and optimize the existing suppliers and supply chain relationship has risen to the strategic height of the business performance success. With GE company development strategy of "globalization" and "Perfect, concentrated, development " the comprehensive implementation of supply chain optimization strategy, research and strengthen the management of suppliers, and to promote continuous improvement of products quality, ensure supply and reduce the cost, the supply chain to belter adapt to corporate users more and more high request, has become a very realistic and urgent subject.Paper first introduces the research significance, the purpose of this paper main content; Then the paper expounds the basic theory and research situation including related concepts and lean supply chain and suppliers under supply chain management research status at home and abroad; Second paper points to the current situation of general electric (Guangzhou) company and supplier management problems:revolves around GE Guangzhou company’s status quo and analysis, and then lead to general electric (Guangzhou) company in supplier management problems, mainly:supplier selection criteria are not clear, quality index weight is low, the supplier delivery delay, supplier performance evaluation system management and supplier relationship theory and the actual order is not clear, next, respectively, aiming at the existing problems in front of the corresponding solutions and measures are put forward that GE supplier management optimization countermeasures, including using the comparative method of all kinds of data analysis and the supplier management process has carried on the analysis one by one; Finally the article points out the GE (Guangzhou)company should be in the establishment and improvement of the supplier management system platform, supplier evaluation index system of building, centralized purchasing, a full range of support and information sharing and so on.
