The Analysis And Design Of Picc Shandong Branch’s Collaborative Office Platform

With the development of global economic integration, the insurance market in China is gradually growing up. More and more insurance companies have come into our insurance marketplace, which results in fierce competition. The expansion of the business scale, the consistent changes of the market, and the adjustment of policies and regulations set a higher bar for the internal control and business management of PICC Shandong Branch. In this circumstance, many problems have arisen, such as inefficient collaboration, cooperation difficulty among departments, inconvenient experience sharing experience, inconvenient employee management, and high cost of learning and adapting. But the vast amounts of existing applications of information systems have different design ideas, which are hard to communicate with each other. In addition, it costs a lot to transform the existing system. The only promising way is to integrate existing applications of information systems. This dissertation analyses and explores how to solve the problems of business management, collaborative working, knowledge management, employee working management and application software system integration. The goal is to increase enterprise marking competition, enhance corporate image, improve service quality and achieve enterprise strategy objectives by introducing the collaborative working platform.In this dissertation, chapter1introduced relevant theoretical studies and research goals. Chapter2summarized the important role of the management information system, knowledge theoretical studies and knowledge management system, the academic and enterprise value of collaborative theory, and the competition strategy of the insurance enterprises. Chapter3analyzed problems and situation of business management of PICC Shandong Branch, and problems showing up in several business activities of marketing management, for example, insurance acceptance management and claim management. Chapter3also listed deficiencies in application information system of PICC Shandong Branch. Chapter4systematically analyzed collaborative office platform and analyzed module requirement. Chapter5mainly described the overall design of the collaborative office platform and modules, followed by a conclusion of Chapter6. The innovation of this paper are:First, we presented a development thought of applying collaborative theory in the business on the basis of the research of collaborative theory, and proposed a concept of business department independently generating structured information flow. Second, we integrated distributed application software systems by using data warehouse and data mining technology to provide business departments with a diversified and flexible data analysis tool. Third, according to the theory of knowledge management, we proposed the idea of the erection of knowledge management system to manage the PICC Shandong Branch’s knowledge resources, and enhance the company’s competitiveness.
