Era of knowledge economy, knowledge has become the basis of survival, and innovation is the driving force and source of enterprise development. Based on the "knowledge alliances" and by "collaborative" approach to achieve "innovation" has become the main way for enterprises to enhance innovation capabilities and maintain competitive advantages.Based on the above background, firstly, we use the life-cycle theory of knowledge alliances and collaborative innovation theory as the theoretical support, and based on the review of domestic and foreign literature, to make the knowledge alliance collaborative innovation process into four stages, which included strategic collaboration in stage of building, resources and knowledge collaboration in stage of development, collaborative innovation and achievements in stage of mature and reflections on collaborative innovation process in stage of transformation. Secondly, building the model of causality various stages of the collaborative innovation process and system flow diagram through the ideas and methods of system dynamics, then set the model variables and parameters of the equation. Finally, using the Neusoft-Philip Knowledge Alliance Case for practice support, and using the vensim software for the model simulation analysis and parametric tests, to understand and explore the whole process of the knowledge alliance collaborative innovation with systematic, comprehensive and dynamic, and to master of basic evolution of the knowledge alliance collaborative innovation.The main findings and conclusions are summarized as follows:(1) The ideas and methods of system dynamics is very appropriate in this study, furthermore, knowledge alliance collaborative innovation at all stages of the whole process are mutually reinforcing, complementary and mutual restraint. Moreover, this dependency would rather change with the evolution of the alliance life cycle.(2) By Neusoft-Philip Case study simulation, our study showed that the essence is "technical knowledge" of innovation for the "enterprise-enterprise" knowledge alliance collaborative innovation, and collaborative innovation is the key to the success of technical knowledge creation.(3) General knowledge alliance collaborative innovation development path can be briefly summarized as:identify knowledge alliance strategic objectives, select alliance partners and alliance mode, clearly positioned itself and milestones, formulate the alliance incentives and coordination mechanisms, emphasis on collaborative innovation achievements, reflection alliance value and upgrade.Conclusions of this study further improve the knowledge alliance collaborative innovation theory, and has important guiding significance for each subject of alliance in the collaborative innovation performance improvement in practice. By the conclusions of this study, each subject of alliance will be able to more clearly recognize the impact of factors, risks and so on are different owing to the type of knowledge alliance and coalition partners differ. Therefore, in what form alliances, how to choose coalition partners, choose what type of alliance partners, will determine the extent of strategic collaboration, the extent of resources and knowledge collaboration and collaborative innovation success rate in the process of collaboration innovation, and ultimately influence the realization extent of alliance innovation performance and the enhance level of each alliance members innovation ability.
