With the advance of industrialization and acceleration of the urbanization,the rural migrant workers are becoming the main part of industrial workers,and also provide an important channel for the urban labor force. Most rural migrant workers undertake the work which is painful,tired,dirty and dangerous in the city,they are facing with a series of problems arising from the role transition when experiencing the change of their career to be non——agricultural.Among them,the high risk characteristics of their engaged occupation decides that the rural migrant workers are the main victims of industrial accidents and occupational diseases,the occupational safety and health have become the second largest prominent contradictions which is secondary to the wage dispute. Industrial injury insurance system is the peasant worker’s social security system of rural migrant workers important contents. In some areas, the industrial injury insurance system for the migrant workers has achieved certain success, but it still remains problems such as low enrollment rate, low compensation, difficulties in obtaining compensation, imperfection of the industrial injury insurance system and so on. These problems make it hard to protect the legal rights and interests of the migrant workers, they also make it hard to solve the "three rural" issue as well as the construction of a harmonious society. Therefore, an exhaustive study of he industrial injury insurance for the migrant workers has important theoretical and practical significance.Through discussing the problems of the industrial injury insurance system for the migrant workers and its solutions, this paper analyzed the roles which the government, enterprises and migrant workers should play and the duties which they should perform to help complete and perfect the industrial injury insurance system for the migrant workers.This paper can be divided into five parts. The fist part is introduction which introduces the background, significance, research status both in and abroad, research method and content. The second part defines relevant concepts and discusses the theoretical basis for migrant workers’ compensation insurance. The third part analyzes the status of the insurance in our country, including the development history, the achievement and the problems which still remain.The fourth part analyzes the causes of the problems of the industrial injury insurance for migrant workers in our country, from the government, enterprises and migrant workers these three aspects. The last part provides the solutions for the problems in the forth part.
