With acceleration of industrialization and urbanization process in China, more and more surplus rural labors transfer to urban, so a special social group– migrant workers formed. They make tremendous contribution to country's economic development and city's prosperity. Migrant workers usually work in highly risk, frequent occupational diseases profession, such as building and mining, and they lack of the necessary labor protection. So, migrant workers become the main victims of occupational hazards in our country at this stage. We should establish and improve the injury insurance system for migrant workers, to reduce the endless accident and amazing scale of occupational diseases groups, further to eliminate countless labor disputes between labor and capitalist.The first part of thesis gives the background of the migrant workers problem, analyzes the purpose of my research, and summarizes the formulation of my thesis. Also is shows the references of the thesis.The second part of thesis defines a number of conceptions related to injury insurance, involved the characterizations of migrant workers groups, and introduces the concept of injury insurance and migrant workers injury insurance in China, analyzes the concept of labor relation.The third part includes the growing of injury insurance in developed countries and the patterns of current migrant workers injury insurance in China. All of these bases on the investigation of Kunming's migrant workers injury insurance. It also analyzes the situation of Chinese migrant workers injury insurance system, such as the lower coverage rate, difficulty in protecting their interests, unreasonable rate mechanism, and unperfected prevention mechanisms.Part fourth of the thesis puts forward the current problems in Yunnan migrant workers injury insurance. And it shows a case which existed in ZhaoTong. In part five, my thesis provides countermeasures to solve the issue of migrant workers injury insurance. These suggestions include reforming the existed binary household registration system, improving legal system of migrant workers injury insurance, setting effective insurance rate mechanisms, strengthening the combination of migrant workers injury insurance and accident prevention, paying attention to injury rehabilitation, strengthening law enforcement monitoring, etc. In addition, the purpose of my thesis is to resolve the difficulties in implementation and safeguard the rights of injured migrant workers.
