Supplier Quality Management Of AIGI Corporation

Supplier quality management as the upstream link of supply chain management, affects the manufacturing process and product follow-up distribution directly, which is one of the key of product quality. The traditional quality management focuses within the enterprise, as long as the enterprises themselves are improved, then the enterprise products will naturally in the quality guaranteed so that the enterprise can remain invincible in the market all the time. The modern quality management theory argues that enterprise is only one link of the supply chain. The product quality can not only rely on their own efforts, but also need the strategic cooperation with other enterprise. In this management chain, supplier quality management plays the leading role. The effect of supplier quality management is in direct relation to the effectiveness and timeliness of the enterprise raw material resources input.AIGI as the one of the main producer of the gaskets, puts forward strict requirements on the quality of raw materials, and made unremitting efforts in supplier quality management, but still falls into the traditional enterprise "heavy technical, light management" spell. There are many problems in supplier quality management of AIGI. This paper in carries on the inspection to the supplier quality management theory, describes the present status of supplier quality management, and in-depth analysis, in order to find the main problems in supplier quality management of AIGI, After then, this paper analyses three main problems, and according to the analysis, the practice to improve the supplier quality management of AIGI is given.
