Knowledge management originated in the1990s when the first batch of universitygraduates joined the labor force after the World War II. This new cast of the labor force hasthe advantage-highly which any other generation did not have that the educated workerssteadily increase and the corresponding growth in the number of colleges and universitiesformed a strong pressure, which was enough to lead to the most rare and the most compellingneed for knowledge management. This also is the origin of the modern knowledge-basedeconomy. Accompanied by the gradual development of a knowledge-based economy, theresearch and practice on the subject of knowledge management have also made some progress.However, due to the possible economic benefits of knowledge management is not very toodirect and obvious that the employees’ knowledge management inputs and application is notvery common. Wiki is a available hypertext system for many people to use, which is a typicalWeb2.0era technology applications. It can provide a full freedom to carry out the exchange ofknowledge, sharing, and to create a platform for users, which is very suitable for personalknowledge management.The employees is the very group composed of some very important“personals” whose knowledge management is particularly important for enterprises. However,according to current surveys, books and articles about the Wiki application to the employees’knowledge management are few. This paper attempts to Combine the advantages of usingWiki and employee knowledge management, and study the application effects of Wiki on theemployees knowledge management.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the development status of knowledge management at homeand abroad, and then carry out a more detailed exposition of related concepts (such asknowledge, knowledge management, Wiki), and then build an employees knowledgemanagement platform model based on Wiki, at last according to questionnaire we find fordata analysis in a business which has using Wiki for employees knowledge managementcurrently.After data analysis of the questionnaire, the author points out improvement programs and hopes that the study of the thesis can be helpful for employees’ knowledge management.
