Study On Information Regulation Of Food Safety

Food safety is becoming more important with the development of national economy and the people’s livelihood. In recent years, food security incident erupted frequently, which not only dampened the consumption desire of people, but also made many companies get into trouble. Under the circumstances, to strengthen food safety management and solve the food safety problem effectively has already become the urgent matter.The food safety information, as the media that connect supply and demand, plays an important role in restricting food safety. But one-sided, distorted information will mislead consumers and cause serious food safety problems. Therefore, to ensure the reliability and integrity of information, it is necessary for government to regulate the information about food safety. Overall, most of articles concentrate on food supply of enterprise and less attention is paid to information sent by enterprise, which provides a broad space for study.On the basis of public regulation theory and information theory, this paper starts from the perspective of information regulation on enterprise, introduces the present situation and explores to improve the efficiency of information regulation to contribute to resolving the plight of China’s food safety.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction. It mainly elaborates the background and significance of the paper, sums up research achievements in Chinese and foreign scholars and determines the frame structure and writing ideas.The second part is theoretical analysis. It introduces the related concept of food safety and information regulation on food safety, taking public regulation theory and information theory as the basic theoretical foundation.The third part is current situation of regulation. It describes current situation of information regulation from regulation system, legal system and regulation content.The fourth part is analysis of the existing problems. It analyzes the existing problems from regulation system, legal system, law enforcement and industry concentration.The last part is suggestions and countermeasures. On the basis of comprehensive consideration of the factors that influence regulation, it concludes that the efficiency improvement of information regulation depends on innovation of regulatory way, intensive development of food industry and the continued perfection of supervision system.
