Resultly, Rizhao portand its neighbour Qingdao port and Lianyungang constitute direct competitiverelationship.This paper regarding the coal wharf as the research object, combining the coaldock industry’s characteristics, analizes the inscape of Coal Wharf’s competitiveness.This paper selects the index basising on research and it also introduces the policyconditions and other factorsand therefore it is more close to the actual situation of thecompetition of coal wharf.This paper establishes the evaluation system of coal wharf’scompetitiveness on the basis of the competitive theory. It gives a comprehensivecompetitiveness assessment of the coal wharf of Rizhao Port, Qingdao port andLianyungang.This paper systemly studies the promotion way of the Coal Wharf’scompetitiveness of Rizhao Port with the competitive theory as a foundation. Withexample of the coal wharf of Rizhao Port, it analizes the way of improvingcompetitiveness from the next six respects such as the strategic management, thecultural construction, the production management, the resource integration, thehardware construction and the policy aid, which can certainly give some guidance forthe other ports at the same level.
