The power industry is a pillar industry of the national economy. As China’s reform andopening up drive deepens, the demand for electricity is rapidly increasing and thecontradiction of supply and demand turns worse which greatly influences the development ofeconomy and social stability. The country speeds up the process of power engineeringconstruction and boosts investment plans to power project and new energy construction inorder to effectively relieve the tense situation of electricity demand and supply, which bringbroad market to the power engineering construction enterprises. Nonetheless, astransformation of economic development patterns, strengthen of environmental consciousnessxxx, the market growth rate of demand for electricity declines, fossil-fueled power generationproject is limited and especially along with the accomplish of the main-auxiliary separation,the power engineering construction industry changed from the monopolistic market into acompetitive market, and posed a serious challenge to T Group Company. Meanwhile, TGroup Company appeared series problems which could restrict the development ofbusinesses during the process of group management, it is nessary to adjust business structurein the level of strategy and make strategic programs to avoid business risks.This paper based on strategy management and management control theory, appliedPEST Model and Porter’s Five Forces Model to analysis external environment, such asindustry environment, market competition environment and company’s internal environment,and through establishing External Factor Evaluation Matrix and Internal Factor EvaluationMatrix respectively combined with T Group Company’s advantages, disadvantages, chanceand threaten on the basis of foucusing on the T Group Company’s management controlproblems and its adjustment direction, thus revealed external and internal environment inwhich T Group Company is operated. Finally, determined businesses adjustment strategycombined with development goals of T Group Company by using SWOT matrix and Bostonmatrix, drawed up the general strategy of leading diversification strategy, the operation layerstrategy of centralization cost leads strategy and the functional-level strategy, and put forwardsome measures which could ensure the successful implement of this strategy. In the current environment, the research on development strategy of T Group Companyhelps it make a scientific long-term strategic plan and effective measure answering externalenvironment change in the view of development.The study combined theory and practice andhelps T Group Company clearly know the internal and external environment it faces, as wellas some problems in its management, thus it can instructs the enterprise effectively and usethe resources to adapt to the environment, and operate well in a long period in the future.
