Study On The Impact Of Agricultural Subsidy Policy On Increasing Farmers’ Income

Based on the data analysis of the impacts that agricultural subsidy policy had on changes of farmers’income in past few years, the current paper reveals the fact that, farmers’income has been on a steady rise as a result of the agricultural subsidy policy reform. Judging from the investigation of farmers’income in Huidong County, there are still a number of defects in the current agricultural subsidy policy, such as low pertinence in subsidy beneficiary, low efficiency in policy enforcement management, farmers’ revenue growth not living up to expectation as a result of raising purchasing price of agricultural products, defective mechanism of land circulation restraining efficient transfer of surplus labor power in rural areas, and lack of technical support for policy implementation. Because of the above mentioned defects, the current paper proposes the following solutions:reinforcing every linking point in policy implementation process, increasing subsidies for agricultural products, reforming and improving land circulation mechanism to reinforce the transfer of surplus labor power, improving farmers’abilities and qualities by increasing investment in technology and manpower capital.
