The Research Of Regional Economic Disparity In Henan Province During The Construction Process Of The Central Plains Economic Zone

Planning and constructing the Central Plains Economic Zone is thestrategy continues, expandence and exacerbation of the rise of Central China, whichconducive to further improve the layout of the regional economic, and also conduciveto the country formate new economic growth plate in the middle region. In early2011,the Central Plains Economic Zone was formally incorporated into the " A nationalplan for development priority zones", and was included in the national "12thFive-Year Plan. In the process of building the Central Plains Economic Zone, theregions’ economic growth and regional economic disparities are particularly urgent,the regional gap is too much disparity will impede the process of marketization of theeconomy, limite the coordinated development of regional economy. In the economicdevelopment of the market process, Henan Province, located in the central, thenon-balanced economic development gradually emerged, just like other regions, thereis the issue of regional economic disparity which resulting in stagnant level ofeconomic development. Therefore, the study of regional economic disparity in HenanProvince, it is not only with important theoretical significance, but also for thepromotion of economic development of Henan Province, even the successfulimplementation ofthe strategy of central China, it has important practical significance.In recent years, regional economic difference is a common problem in the world,which has been caused for concern from the international and domestic experts andscholars or government. With the deepening of regional economic theory, the researchresults of the regional economic disparity are increasingly abundant. Currently,domestic and foreign academic circles have done a lot of research in the causes of the formation, current status assessment and countermeasures of regional economicdisparity, and achieve fruitful research results. Based on the summary of researchresults at home and abroad, taking eighteen provincial cities in Henan Province as aresearch unit, this paper selects a total of37indicators from the four systemseconomic, social, technology and environmental resource, use the SPSS statisticalanalysis software, take use of factor analysis method, and finally empirical analysisand comprehensive evaluation are taken to the condition of regional disparity of thelevel of regional economic development in Henan Province. Based above, this papersystematically analyzes the cause of regional economic disparities in Henan Province,and put forward the ideas and countermeasures to narrow regional economicdisparities of Henan Province.
