Research On Current Situation Of Pastoralists’ Cooperative Economic Organization In Inner Mongolia

Since the1980s, with the innovation of pastures’ operating system and thedevelopment of market economy, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region haveemerged a large number of pastoralists cooperative economic organizations.Once the pastoralists cooperative economic organizations appear, the numberof the organizations grows rapidly, which is owing to that these organizationsconform to the objective laws of market economy’s development and arerequirements of graziery productive force’s development, and are outcomes ofpastoralists’ own free wills and their self-services. In China, professionalcooperative economic organizations of pastures and those of farming areas invillages seem to have same properties, however, practically, they have bigdifferences in nature. According to theory of cooperative economy and theoryof economic organization and applying research methods of induction,comparative analysis, systematic analysis and case analysis, this thesis, basedon investigations on pasture, have deep and systematic research onpastoralists’ professional cooperatives about Bactrian camels in Gobi Desertof Alashan league.professional cooperatives of two-humped camel in Alashan league desert，which is to league as unit,, retirement veteran cadre primarily, complementarytechnical personnel,wide cooperation regional. Large numbers of members,rich service content. From the beginning, even if the age of leadership is old,they had abundant work experience and social relationship. So, thecooperatives has a high beginning, and large scale, a lot of service projects.This thesis first illustrates the basic situation of pastoralists’ professionalcooperatives about Bactrian camels in Gobi Desert of Alashan league. Theproperties are: the cooperatives are majored by aged veteran cadres retiredand assisted by technicians and regard league as an unit. The factorspromoting the cooperatives are requirements of economy’s development,proclamation of new policies and laws, improving protection awareness ongrassland ecology and requirement of withstanding natural disasters. The principal of the cooperatives is for the sake of common interests, in otherwords, which is for protecting, researching and developing camels, desertecology and civilization of grassland ecology and for creating pasturesharmonious between human and nature. The purpose of the cooperatives is toorganize pastoralists to promote Industrialization process of camel products,to protect ecological environment through enhancing quality and restrictionon number, to encourage the development of camel industry and ecologyprotection, to raise incomes of camel herders through breed improvement andincreasing the add value of products, to build a communicating bridgebetween officials and pastoralists through propagating polices to herders andalso delivering suggestion of herders to officials and to analyze scope ofcooperatives service, organizational setup and allocation mechanism in detail.
