On Sustainable Development Of Zhu Zhou’s Foreign Trade

In recent years, Zhu Zhou’s economy grows rapidly, the constructionof two-oriented Society is advanced rapidly, and the economical andsocial developments obtain significant achievements. However, thegrowth of Zhu Zhou’s economy mainly depends on investment. Thefunctions of foreign trade are not fully exerted. Zhu Zhou’s foreign tradehas problems on trade structure、commodity structure、market structure、trade method and so on. These problems affect Zhu Zhou’s sustainabledevelopment of foreign trade、economy and society. To realize theproblems of Zhu Zhou’s foreign trade and the motivation factors whichaccelerate Zhu Zhou’s sustainable development of foreign trade and toanalysis the countermeasures of Zhu Zhou’s sustainable development offoreign trade have a significant realistic significance.This paper, based on the theories about sustainable development offoreign trade, deeply researches on the sustainable development of ZhuZhou’s foreign trade by methods of literature search、systemic analysisand practical research. The paper firstly summarizes the research statusboth at home and abroad, then expounds the definition、the contents ofsustainable development and the economic basis of sustainabledevelopment. Accordingly, the paper discusses the definition andstructure of sustainable development of foreign trade. This paper argues that the sustainable development of foreign trade should focus on bothvolume and quality. The increase of volume includes amount of foreigntrade、increasing rate、ratio of dependence on foreign trade、amount ofsubjects、classifications of goods and range of market. The increase ofquality includes optimizing trade structure、coordination of economicdevelopment and social development、coordination of foreign trade andenvironment. According to the system structure of sustainabledevelopment of foreign trade and the recent statistics of Zhu Zhou, thepaper analyses the problems. The results shows that the sustainabledevelopment of Zhu Zhou’s foreign trade has the problems of low ratio ofdependence on foreign trade、 centralization of export market、unreasonable structure of trade subject、 goods and methods、 therestriction environment and resources、suffering from international tradeprotectionism. The paper thoroughly analysis the motivation factors andholds that Zhu Zhou should take good advantage of inside and outsidemotivation factors to promote the sustainable development of foreigntrade. Finally the paper offers some countermeasures.
