The Economic Development Of Jiangsu Province And The Relationship Between Energy Consumption Of Time And Space Differences

The sources of energy,as an indispensable material base for the existence of human beings,are the important strategic resources for social progress and economic development.Energy impact on economic development is like a "double-edged sword". Economic development could gain unlimited power when it has enough energy. On the contrary,energy will also become an obstacle to economic development of the negative factor.Jiangsu is in the key period of development.With the steady and rapid economic development, industrial scale is constantly expanding and energy consumption is increasing rapidly.Meanwhile,a series of problems,such as contradiction between supply and demand, the irrational energy structure and low energy efficiency,are gradually outstanding.The energy problem is restricting the further development of economy in Jiangsu. Jiangsu should take a study to the internal connection of economic development and energy consumption in order for the sustainable development of social and economy.This paper discusses the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics and regularity of economic development and energy consumption in Jiangsu severally from aspects as follow:quantity,structure and efficiency. Then,through utilizing energy consumption elasticity coefficient and Lorenz curve,we excavate the relationship evolution of economic growth and energy consumption.Cointegration analysis and Granger causality test show that Jiangsu Jiangsu is not an energy dependence province with the time series data.On the same time, we used Theil index method to find that internal difference in South of Jiangsu area is the main reason. In addition, we analyzed the internal relations between industrial structure and energy consumption by utilizing modem statistical theory and method from aspects,such as: the relations between industrial structure and total energy consumption by Gray correlation analysis method, the relations between industrial structure and energy structure by Matrix analysis method, the relations between industrial structure and Energy efficiency by Factoring decomposition method. According to Jiangsu12th Five-Year Plan,the author advanced the strategies as follows:Secondly,Develop renewable energy sources,and optimize energy structure;Thirdly,improve energy efficiency,and realize the economy green growth;Fourthly,Adjust measures to local conditions,and promote the regional common development;Finally,Strengthen law enforcement efforts,and further enhance the consciousness.
