Nowadays, the process of economic globalization greatly accelerate the economicties between the countries in the world, especially the trade has become increasinglyfrequent between the countries, which brings the world’s economic prosperity andraises the level of trade liberalization. China’s economy is embracing into the worldeconomy in a fast speed; especially China’s foreign trade plays an important role inglobal trade, and which has made remarkable achievements. However, we mustrecognize that the prosperity and development of China’s foreign trade is based onexpense of the environment in a heavy price. The human environment appears globalwarming, overexploitation of natural resources, shortage of resources and seriousenvironmental pollution and other issues, which prompted the humans to consider thequestion of the relationship between international trade development and environmentalprotection seriously. How to coordinate the development of international trade andenvironmental protection has become an important subject of human research, and theseproblems have been be and continued to lead the world’s concerns of the community. Inview of this, the article attempts to analyze the environmental impact of the export tradein order to seek the way to coordinate the development of the export growth andenvironmental protection. This paper studies export’s growth impact on the environment, and analyses currentsituation of the export trade and environmental pollution. China’s foreign trade exportsremain strong momentum of development, still occupy an important position in worldtrade, but the export trade has led to environmental deterioration of the quality, forexample, overexploitation of natural resources, serious pollution of industrial "threewastes" and a lot of transfer of the waste and toxic substances. Closely with the situationof China background and practical, this paper analysis the reason of the deterioration ofenvironmental pollution that export trade has caused, and it found that foreign directinvestment mainly concentrated in the manufacturing industry, which emissions pollutionis the most in all of the various industries. At the same time, with a large number ofmanufactured goods exported, which not only consumes a lot of natural resources, butalso generated a lot of waste pollution of the environment. Then, basing on previous research results, this paper establish economic model which use export pollution intensityas the object of study, FDI, exports of the processing trade, the net terms of trade andGDP per capita as the main explanatory variables, and analysis the impacts of FDI, theproduct within the division of labor, etc. on the export of pollution-intensive degree. Theresult shows that on the background of the product specialization product, the mainfactors that affects export trade high-speed growth have a significant effect on the exportpollution intensity, and for the empirical results, it tries to explore path to solve thecontradiction between the export growth and environmental development, and thespecific measures include: the government and enterprises should introduce the foreigndirect investment in a rational way and use it in a efficient way, promote technologyspillovers, promote the upgrading of processing trade, and actively participate theinternational division of labor and trade in products, strictly restrict high-pollutingindustries to enter into market and so on.
