Analysis Of Regional And Industrial Disparities Caused By Environmental Pollution Resulted From Our Country's Export Trade

Along with our country's rapid development of export trade, no one could afford to neglect the environmental pollution problem brought by. Especially when it comes to the 21st century, our country's export trade developed fast at a large scale. At the same time, the environmental pollution situation is getting more and more serious, for example, air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, solid waste pollution. At present, there are regional disparity and industrial difference between export trade and environmental pollution. Geographically, export trade in eastern provinces increases more rapidly than that in western provinces. Simultaneously, the waste emission in eastern provinces is more than that in western provinces. If you study by different industries, you will also find that those industries with developed export trade are with more waste emission, and vice versa.This article conducts qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of our country's export trade and environmental pollution by using the cross-section data of our country's 29 provinces and 11 industries on the basis of regional and industrial disparities between export trade and environmental pollution. Further more, this article establishes models joined with dummy variables and its cross-terms in order to analyze the influences of export trade on environmental pollution more concretely. At the same time, according to the four effects of export trade to environment: scale effect, composition effect, technique effect and policy effect, we analyze concrete differences of export trade to environment. And the conclusion is that: the effects'results of export trade to environment agree with the domestic and foreign scholar's study results. Under the different environmental indexes measured, the disparities of the regional and industrial have differences. In all, both of the eastern region's scale effect and the composition effect of export trade to environment surpass the middle and the western regeion's. Although the technique effect to environment is positive, it hasn't surpassed the negative effect which the scale effect has. And because of its inadequate investment and supervision, policy effect has limited effectiveness. As to the industry, the development of chemical and metalwork's export trade goes against the impovement of environment. And comparatively speaking, the development of food, machine, rubber and leather's exportation haven't brought inverse imapct on environment. Then, in order to develop the export trade effectively, healthily and sustainably and make the environment better, we propose a series of worthy sugges- tions for reference.
