The underground railway traffic can not only save precious space and resources on the ground, but also in favor of environmental protection. Its speed fast, large carrying capacity has an irreplaceable role to alleviate traffic pressure in the city. The construction of Shenyang metro represents the economic strength and vitality which has become a new economic growth point of the city. Especially in the time that National Games is approaching, Shenyang as a traditional industrial city will show bran-new splendor and spirit to the whole country. Shenyang Metro will be the important channel to show cityscape. However, through related materials collected for the case study findings, present a series of problems encountered in the operation of Shenyang metro. This not only reduces the operation company’s service quality, but also affected the image of Shenyang city. Among them, the imperfect facilities, the defective guide sign directly affect the comfort and convenience of Metro, the passengers fall and hurt in metro escalator reflects even more safety issues in ergonomics aspect. In addition, air environment pollution problem in subway stations are increasingly prominent. This paper is based on theories of ergonomics, management science, and environmental science. On the human body measure theory analysis of subway facilities; with visual characteristics analysis of metro sign design problems; Human-machine security theoretical analysis of passenger incident caused by subway escalators and hidden danger of the gap between security door and platform; with environmental theory analysis of air pollution in stations. Then give the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem. This paper is divided into four parts:the first part with personal experience and related materials collected as a case; in the second part, applying ergonomics, management science, environmental science theory to find out and analyze the problems, including the imperfect metro facilities, the defective signs design, the uncoordinated man-machine relationship, the poor environmental condition:in the third part, making solutions and suggestions in the aspects of infrastructure construction improvement, signs design optimization, man-machine relationship specification, the construction of green metro space, etc. The last part is the conclusion of the whole thesis and summarizes the deficiencies.
