In the project management, project schedule plan and control through the whole project process, which is the crucial role, this directly decides item whether success finish, and also influence the economic performance directly. This thesis applied the theories and method of project schedule plan and control, combining with practice, and practical study on the project schedule planning and controlling.Chapter one introduced the general situation of Northern Heavy Industries Group Co.,Ltd., include enterprise nature, company main product, manufacture capacity and company qualification; MPF1511vertical mill project brief, include vertical mill development status at home and abroad, project introduction and NHI present project management problem; Aim at the problems, analyze study content, importance and method. The chapter two analyzed MPF1511vertical mill project, firstly introduced NHI company management system, analyzed project characteristic, built project organization, proposed project target. The chapter three analyzed plan and control problems and found solution, item description, project decomposition, task description, responsibilities allocation, job sequencing, work duration estimation, drew up project schedule plan, scheduling and built network plan model by adopting Network Planning Technology. The chapter four analyzed MPF1511vertical mill project schedule control content and basis, gave project schedule control flow, indicated a dynamic controlling system for schedule plan, which will inspect and analyze the plan, detect and correct deflections. The chapter five found safeguard measures for carrying out production schedule, include build high performance project team, enhance project quality management, and strengthen cost control.The thesis combined theory and practice, successfully adopted Network Planning Technology and Dynamic Control Theory in to MPF1511vertical mill project, finished the project on time, and supplied method and ideas for further similar projects.
