Research deep in the digital urban management is conducive to the promotion of urban management development, is beneficial to enrich the urban management theory, is also beneficial for guiding the practice of urban management. Urban management plays a more and more important role in the urban development of civilization and progress. Strengthen management is benefit for the urban general planning and enhancing the authority of the urban planning. Strengthen management can ensure the normal operation of urban infrastructure and produce investment effect of the urban management. Strengthen management also can improve the urban environment, enhance the urban image, promote the opening up level to the outside world, enhance the integrated function of the city and stimulate the urban economy and society sustainable development.This paper starts from the system project background and research meaning of the digital urban management, analyses the practical significance demand and necessity of the digital urban management in Changshu. At the same time, according to Changshu actual needs and related systems research, combined with the national standard, current situation and specific practice. I adopt the method of program management and design Changshu digital urban management system, finally I analyze the process of the project implementation and put forward some measures for risk prevention.Project uses advanced technology lines, it also through projects-driven to promote resources sharing and to improve system function, at last, accomplishes the management of the’seamless docking’. The system has also greatly improved the ability of government’s urban management, the capabilities of early warning and emergency response in key areas, so that it can monitor all aspects of the city,by this to strengthen the social supervision and rectification, also to upgrade the effectiveness of government service effectively. However, the digital urban management is still a young system, this paper researches from the plan of the digital urban management with the hope for providing the research directions for the other cities’digital management, thus reducing the loss, cutting the cost and increasing profits.
