A Study On The Effects Of Organizational Learning Of Star-rated Hotels On Management Control Capability

The macro environment, industry environment and internal environment of star-rated hotels have changed a lot. Internal and external environment are dynamic and uncertain. Meanwhile there is big gap between the brand in China and international brand about management control capability. Most of star-rated hotels take more attention to control over people and business, not to the management control system. The management control of star-rated hotels is extensive. How to get sustainable advantage in the complex environment, enhance the competitiveness of star-rated hotels become a common concern.There is a few research about management control capability, most of them just quote the management control capability simply. This article analyzed the management control system, and raised that:dynamic capability can help star-rated hotels to face of changes in environment. Management control capability is a dynamic capability of hotel and can make change when environment changes to adapt to the environment. The amount of knowledge depends on the management control capability. This article analyzes management control capability from the perspective of organization learning, build a research model and formulate hypothesis.Through empirical analyses, this paper concludes that:the four dimensions of organizational learning all have a significant positive effect on management control capability except knowledge acquisition. This article provides some suggestions for the star-rated hotels managers according to the conclusion. At the end of this paper, it points the limitations and the further research direction.
