With the fast development of tourism industry in our country, the traveling enterpriseshave gradually greater demand for their practitioners and the personal quality. Thegraduates from higher vocational college, who major in tourism, have been the main forceof the practitioners. Therefore, at present, the key point of reform in higher tourismvocational education is how to deepen the reform of teaching, how to cultivate the talentswith innovation and skill to conform to the need of development of tourism. The deepeningreform of the main course of tourism in higher vocational college, which includes LobbyRoom Service and Management, not only refers to the quality of cultivation of talents inhigher tourism vocational education, but also affects the personal development of students,even the level of quality of the whole team of staff in tourism industry.The research methods in this article are documentation method, survey method andstatistical analysis method. The article relies on CBE theory and is set out from cultivationof the comprehensive vocational ability of the students who major in tourism in highervocational college. And the reform of lobby room service and management have beenexplored and researched. On the basis of surveying the actual state of teaching lobby roomservice and management, analyzing the existing problems, and conforming to the CBEtheory, the measures of curriculum reform of lobby room service and management has beenput forward: to enrich the teaching methods and means to enforce the teaching effect; toenhance teaching in practical section to promote the relative ability of students; to actualizethe diversity in curriculum check; to perfect the construction of teaching evaluation system.The article is made up of five sections. The first section is introduction. It states theresearching background, the researching sense, the researching frame and the researchingmethods of curriculum reform of lobby room service and management. The second sectionis the theoretical basis of curriculum reform of lobby room service and management, thedefinition and basic viewpoint of CBE theory, and the analysis of the relationship betweenthe CBE theory and the curriculum reform of lobby room service and management. Thethird section is getting the current situation of the lobby room service and managementthrough survey, and to analyze the existing problems. The fourth section is the researchingfocus of this article. The principle and measure, which should be followed and adopted inthe curriculum reform of lobby room service and management, are put forward. The fifthsection is analyzing the conclusion and bringing expectation. The conclusion and theshortage of the research, the needed following discussion have been brought forward.
