Study On Rural Tourism Development Of Zhenghe County

Everything about rural tourism happens within the area of rural regions, which help to add local features, village features and ethnic features to it. Recently, rural tourism is getting more and more attentions from the government and public. Zhenghe locates in a rural mountain district. Under the influence of tourism development trend, the local government began to pay more attention to tourism industry development in Zhenghe. But up until now, the industry benefit and its future direction are still not clear. This article combined research results from both foreign and domestic countries, borrowed rural tourism development experience from other places, and was based on the tourism empirical study of Zhenghe, raised the point that Zhenghe is capable to develop rural tourism since it already has everything to make it. Zhenghe rural tourism should position in comprehensive rural tourism pattern. In writing this article, the author raised the point based on domestic and foreign research results that rural tourism was what happens in a village area, aiming at experiencing the rural ecological scenery, unique local life style, local flavor, vernacular architecture, food, and other forms of local cultural tourism. Rural tourism should be diversified, try to avoid monotony, so that it can meet the different level of consumer needs. All kinds of tourism patterns should be integrated, forming product series. Government should strengthen culture development, combining natural scenery with folk customs, conventional culture, religion culture and red culture to enrich product quality, making rural tourism colorful and meaningful. In the practice of developing rural tourism in Zhenghe, this article analyzed the necessity to develop rural tourism comprehensively. Firstly, rural tourism is helpful for increasing farmer income and expanding employment channels; secondly, rural tourism is helpful for accelerating urban and rural construction and improving rural infrastructure; thirdly, rural tourism is helpful for optimizing agricultural industry structure; fourthly, rural tourism is helpful for promoting the prosperity of local cultural industry. Meanwhile, this article used SWOT analysis to analyze the area advantage, resource advantage and brand advantage of rural tourism comprehensively. Furthermore, this article analyzed the shortage of rural tourism development in Zhenghe, such as government leading inadequacy, low road grade, capital throws inadequacy, insufficient brand promoting and the lack of tourism talents, evaluated both the challenges and opportunities for developing rural tourism in Zhenghe and finally made five suggestions for it. The suggestions were developing original ecological tourism products with local characteristics and cultural tourism product with local characteristics, strengthening government leading, scientific planning, broaden capital attraction methods.
