With the fast globalization process, the rapid development of science andtechnology and the improvement of productivity, the competition among productiondepartments in the manufacturing enterprise become more and more fierce. Under thiscomplex and changeable circumstance, the competition among production departments inthe manufacturing enterprise has not only been the competition of material resources, butmore obviously the competition of talents, especially the competition of junior managers.So it is very important to find the factors which influence the performance of primaryadministration talents in production department of the manufacturing enterprise and toanalyze the influence degree of these factors to the performance index. Thus it can helpto make the junior managers more scientific and reasonable, as well as to improve theperformance of junior managers.The paper first makes a theoretical analysis on the possible affects which influencethe performance of the junior managers through the relative domestic and internationalreferences. Then it establishes a conceptual model which factors the performance in themanufacturing enterprise on the basis of these references as well as the characteristicsand the effects of the junior managers who works in the production departments. It alsoanalyzes some existing performance evaluation indicator, summarizes performanceevaluation index suitable to the junior managers and makes relevant theoretical analysisand explanation in the production department of the manufacturing enterprise.Additionally, with the possible influence factors of the questionnaire on the performanceof junior managers in the production departments of manufacturing enterprise and theperformance indicator data collected by the questionnaire, we can achieve a furtheranalysis on the influence extent of the factors posed on junior managers. Finally it makesan empirical research on that model.The research shows that the environment of the organization, the characteristics ofthe governors and the special assignments make significant effects on the performance of junior managers. Through the analysis and discussion on the results, this paper suggeststhat to improve the performance, the enterprise needs focus on the development ofworking environment which makes the junior managers work in a comfortable and fairenvironment. And it provides more training opportunities which would improve theirworking abilities for the development of the enterprise. What’s more it needs incentivemeasures according to different working assignments when do performance evaluation.
