Nowadays, enterprise is not only belongs to the managers of the enterprise, but alsothe staff of the enterprises. Staff in many cases will play a crucial role on managers’decisions, Between managers and employees are no longer just employ and by therelation of employ, staff involved in the leadership’s decision to have more and moreattention by enterprises. As the enterprise grass-roots staff, they are often able todiscovery the existing problems earlier in enterprises than leaders,at the same time, mayalso lead to more than learn how to solve problems, they can be timely to the leader toreflect the problems, and put forward the related proposal.Employee will feel a sense of belonging when they participation in thedecision-making process, thus increasing the sense of responsibility of the enterprise, andmake efforts to complete the target of the enterprise. However, in the treatment of thework and decision-making problem of the enterprise each employee has two choices: toexpress their opinions or remain silent. But in reality of enterprises, many employees arenot willing to express their views, particularly in the enterprises of our country, manyemployees will choose to hide their point of view, to remain silent. This silence behaviorhas seriously affected the enterprise’s efficiency of information transmission, make theenterprise is very difficult to make a correct decision, at the same time, it is difficult toquickly find effective solutions to the produced problem about the company. Thusaffecting the efficiency of the enterprise and will caused serious harm for the enterprise.The leaders as the key factors of organization of human, financial, and mobilize allpositive, their style of leadership can affect staff in all aspects of the work. This articleattempts to different leadership styles and different silent behavior characteristicsanalysis, study of the relationship between leadership style and employee silencebehavior, to find out that what leadership style can be reduced or even eliminatedemployee silence, improve the effectiveness of leadership, so as to improve the efficiencyof enterprises to make contribution.The first part of this paper introduces the research background, significance, ideas,methods and innovation; the second part elaborated the leadership style and employee silence in the domestic and international related research; according to the above theory,the third part puts forward the theoretical model, describe the relevant variables, as wellas research tools. The fourth part puts forward the assumption of this research andquestionnaire design and data sources; the fifth part is the choice of214employees as theresearch samples, using empirical research method and SPSS16.0software for dataanalysis. The methods mainly include: reliability analysis, descriptive statistics,independent sample T test, correlation analysis, regression analysis and so on, based onleadership style and employee silence are discussed; the sixth part is the researchconclusion, put forward the research limitations and suggestions of management. Thispaper mainly studies the relationship between leadership style and employee silencebehavior, in addition, also studies the impact of demographic variables on them.Based on above empirical analysis, this article summed up the followingconclusions:(1)Gender, Work experience, degree in the partial variables showedsignificant effects on leadership style and employee silence; Age without significantimpact on leadership style and employee silence; Functions in all variables on line showsignificant influence on the leadership style and employee silence.(2)Leadership styleand employee silence showed an obvious correlation.(3)On the production of concernedleadership style and employee’s acquiescence silence, defensive silence behavior ispositively related, and has no significant correlation on prosocial silence behavior. Thepeople concerned about the leadership style and employee’s has positively correlated onacquiescence silence, has negatively correlated on defensive behavior, and has nosignificant correlation on prosocial behavior silence.
