| With abundance in industrial power, Liaoning is one of the Old Northeast Industrial Bases. As one of the province’s emerging strategic industries, equipment manufacturing industry possesses relatively abundant resources and is in leading position, meanwhile, it is still confronted with targets and tasks of upgrading the manufacturing sector. Besides, product services, as the most important constituent element of tertiary industry, plays a key role in economic development. In recent years, many scholars, home and abroad, have had in-depth study of the relationship between product services and manufacturing industry, reaching the basic conclusion of inter-affection and interaction between the two sectors. However, in this thesis, the author adopts an empirical point of view to deliberate the interrelationship between product service and equipment manufacturing industries. The thesis aims at effectively promoting advanced equipment manufacturing industry through systematically and scientifically upgrade of product service, and achieving sound and coordinate development among industries. The thesis is of significance both in practice and in theory to optimization and upgrading of Liaoning’s industrial structure. In addition, it can also contribute to optimization and upgrading of the privince’s economy and ultimately achieving sustainable growth.The study is divided into three parts:The first section introduce the relevant theories and respectively describes the current status of product service and equipment manufacturing industry of Liaoning Province. In the second section, the author uses the input-output method to make an empirical analysis of the interrelationship between product service and equipment manufacturing industries. And in the third section of the thesis, the author puts forward policy suggestions in views of the problems existing in the interactive development process of product service and equipment manufacturing industries. |
