As a new type of green building materials, ready-mixed mortar has significantadvantages in the resources saving, protect the environment, ensure the quality of theconstruction work, and resources reuse. But the high price of ready-mixed mortar, whichleads to the slow growth of the industry and a fierce competition for limited market share.A numerous of competitors, and roughly the same products or services offered by thecompetitors result in a strong substitutability of productions. Supply chain managementadvocates cooperation and win-win, integration, to enhance overall competitiveness of thesupply chain enterprises in the manufacturing industry and SCM is widely adopted inmanufacturing industry. Good supply chain management system has become an importantmeans to improve the competitiveness of mortar production enterprises.This thesis takes mortar production enterprises as the background and discussesproblems in supply chain management and proposes targeted solutions strategy. Firstly, itanalyzes the difference between the traditional mode of production and supply chainmanagement. Secondly, it analyzes the problems of the NYG company supply chainmanagement, which lies in the lack of an active option during the procurement of rawmaterials, a stock "doubtful" and changes in inventory due to changes in the amount ofraw materials, the incomplete management of third-party logistics, and the deletion of theinformation system. Finally, using the theory of supply chain management knowledge,techniques and methods, it suggests that the forecast accuracy should be improved andtakes a joint inventory model should be adopted, a futures mechanism should be utilized tobuild strategic reserves of raw materials system and the selection of suppliers can beoptimized, and the balanced scorecard management can be used to manage logisticsproviders, and the supply chain information system should be strengthened. This study canhelp NYG company to control reasonable inventory, control the risk of raw materialprocurement, choose reasonable third-party logistics providers, as well as improve thesupply chain information system.
