Performance Prism Model-based Research About Patent Early Warning Of Enterprises

Since2008the country has carried out" intellectual property strategy outline"，enterprises are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of intellectual propertyrights. The author in the patent risk management and patent early warning angle，drawinglessons from the enterprise management performance prism main idea，has established theenterprise patent early warning model and using mathematical statistics tool SPSS to dofactor analysis to extract key indicators of patent early warning scientifically. The study onenterprise’s patent forewarning can help enterprises to found their own patent managementproblems, and timely response to patent disputes and eventually can provide the scientificbasis when enterprises made up their competition strategy.This paper’s train of thought: propose the indexes which can reflect the enterprisepatent management problem; then classify and analyze these indicators; last in the fall intothe same category index, calculate the respective weight.Besides I use the literature analysis method to analyze the seven aspects of theliterature： competitive intelligence, risk management, enterprise crisis early warning,balanced scorecard, performance prism, early warning of intellectual property rights andpatent early warning, and find out the relationship between these literatures and enterprisepatent early warning. Then I adopt questionnaire investigation method, and set anenterprise patent early warning index questionnaire。 By distributing to enterprisesmanagement people who engaged in related management to fill in, and through the SPSSstatistics software to carry on the factor analysis, I find out the key early warning index,and build a corresponding early warning model.Last we draw the following conclusions: the enterprise patent early warning indexesare divided into：patent protection index; financial(market) index; customer index; indexof human security; legal index; patent literature index; index of innovation. In these typesof index, the more important underlying index: patent family coverage index is made up36.2%of patent protection index; changes in market is made up30.3%of financial(market) index; patent licensing, transfer of customer satisfaction index is made up89.1%of customer index; R&D personnel turnover rate is made up of human security index; engaged in patent litigation personnel quantity is made up47.7%of legal index; R&D personnel competence indicators is made up73.2%of total patent literature index; R&D and patent management personnel training situation is made up86.8%of innovationindex.
