| Since the reform and opening policy, China’s tourism has developed rapidly. Butnon-equilibrium of regional tourism is more and more serious, and the long-termunbalance becomes the bottleneck of health and sustainable development of China’stourism industry. How to evaluate and solve non-equilibrium problems becomes the focusof China’s tourism industry currently. In this paper, quantitative methods are used todescribe spatial-time non-equilibrium characteristics of China’s tourism and their causes. In the end, coordinated mechanisms are provided. According to the necessity of the study, literature analysis, quantitative analysis (standard deviation, coefficient of variation, correlation coefficients and coupling coordination degree indicators) and spatial statisticalanalysis (exploratory spatial data analysis) are used to explain different problems.First, it tells the research background, significance, domestic and foreign researchstatus, and clarifies the content and methods of this paper. Explanations of concepts andtheories involved and their special meanings here provide the basis and guidance for theother parts.Secondly, based on the data of31regions in the Mainland China from1991to2010,it combines traditional indicators and ESDA technology to draw conclusions thespatial-time non-equilibrium characteristics of China’s tourism industry.Thirdly, on the basis of spatial-time non-equilibrium characteristics, it chooses therepresentative data for2010. Starting from tourism system, it finds the differences of theelements themselves and their coupling coordination degrees, moreover it discusses theirinfluences to the whole tourism industry. Finally, on the basis of evaluating the non-equilibrium problem objectively, couplingmechanisms are proposed, including market mechanism, governmental and organizationcoordination mechanism, internal coordination strategy of regional tourism system etc. |
