The paper studies the challenges of the inbound supply chain management andlogistics management in the inland new factories of XXX Group. It made an analysison resource of any problem, to find out the solution to make risk control and providereference for improving the inbound logistics effectiveness.As to the main problems of inbound logistics management in inland new factories,including suppliers relation management and purchase, demand forecast, cost oflogistics control, information transmit, warehouse and dispatching management, thepaper integrate the theory and method of supply chain and logistics management,based on SWOT analysis, elaborating the strengths and opportunities, to ensure thestrategy how to solve the problems. It also analyzes the solution to merge resourcethrough re-designing operation process and integrating information system.All the solutions refer to supply chain management new technologies anddevelopment trend, such as JIT Purchasing, JIT Dispatching and VMI strategy. To setup new mechanism of suppliers and purchasing management based on whole supplychain, and set up harmony and strategic co-working relationship. Besides, VMI HUBbecomes the key role in the inbound logistics management, which establishes centralwarehouse to merging all the warehouse facilities and to make consolidation anddispatching. It also set up perfect logistics networks, which covers all factories ofXXX Group and gives one stop service to make cost down. VMI HUB constructsinbound material management system, which integrates all inbound materialinformation, so that the information will be transmitted synchronously betweensuppliers and inner departments and become the strength of inbound logisticsmanagement with lower cost. All the solutions and studies make sure that it is activeand practical to improve the effectiveness. |
