Research On The Location Of Distributed DC

Distribution centre as an important part of logistics system, itslocation plays the strategic role in the design of logistic systemprogramming. In modern manufacture, enterprise has been verysuccessful in the developing of the first and second profit sources, theprogramming of distribution centre has remarkable influence on the costof the whole logistic system, it becomes the key of developing the thirdprofit source. We can say that the quality of the location of distributioncentre impact not only the success of distribution but also thecompetition level of enterprise.The location of distribution centre is a complex problem whichconcerns about the characteristic of goods which to be delivered and theenvironment and traffic condition of the potential sites.How to select the influence factors of location and set up the properevaluate system, through which to get the optimization solution is theproblems we need to fix during the research of location.The target of this thesis is to solve the problem of optimization DCquantity and build up sequence of distributed DC according to differentdistricts. That’s to consider the developed demand of clients during theprocess of DC location. During the research we use the classicaltransportation model on the strategic decision of DC location, set up the relative evaluated factors, use the integrated evaluated system to buildup the model, use the optimization algorithm to get the final results. Atthe end of this thesis we show the instance of Hyper Extension Ltd DClocation to prove the model, we also hope this thesis can supply somereferences for people when handle the relative distributed DC build upsequence problems.
