Empirical Analysis Of Influence Factors And Convergence Of Carbon Emissions In China’s Industrial Department

Along with the rapid growth of economy in our country,the consumption of energyhas become more and more.The energy consumption has lead to carbon emissionsrising gradually.As the mark of the greenhouse gas,the carbon dioxide has caused theattention of all humankind.Analysis of impact factors of carbon emissions can help usfurther understand the cause of carbon emissions.At the same time,it can help us takecorresponding measures to deal with the carbon emissions.This paper researches the relationship between China’s economic development andthe carbon emissions from the theoretical perspective and the empirical perspective todiscuss the EKC of China and the causality between them.At the same time,this paperuses the LMDI method to decompose the factors of carbon emissions in departmentsof industry.The empirical study shows how the factors influence the carbon emissionsWhat’s more,this paper considers carbon emissions convergence in three departmentsof our industry.Here is beta convergence in industrialdepartments.Through the abovetheory and empirical analysis I can get the following conclusions.Firstly,China’s EKC curve does not accord with the traditional pour U shape,but inthe type of N.Now,China is still in the stage of rising EKC curve.The ideal turningpoint don’t appear in China.Besides,economic development and the carbon emissionsexist only one-way and positive relations in China,there isn’t two-way relationshipbetween them.Secondly,our energy structure of industrial departments,economic growth and thepopulation growth have positive relationship with level of carbon emissions.Energyintensity has negative relationship with the carbon growth.And the economic growthhas the most obvious degree of influence on the carbon emissions levels.Thirdly,on the whole,our industrial department does not exist β convergence.AfterCareful analysis,our country’s mining department, the manufacturing sector andelectric,gas and water supply departments don’t show absolute β convergence atpresent in China. This paper finally puts forward some suggestions on carbon emissions.And thispaper prospects the future research of carbon emissions.
