The Research And Practice Of Project Decision-making Method Based On The Data Analysis

Decision-making is the core of project management, gooddecision-making is a decisive factor in success of the project. And rigorousdata analysis improves the quality of decision-making. But now thephenomenon that extensive use of intuitive decision making and experiencedecision-making in project make risk increased greatly.For the decision-making in project management, the contributions of thisarticle are as below:First, this paper analyzes the important of the decision-making in projectmanagement, and introduced three types of project management decisions,focusing on respected scientific decision-making. In the end of the chapter, itsummarized the status of the project management decision-making.Second, this paper describes the important decision-making aspects inthe project life cycle, and then to further explore the importance of data tosupport decision-making, clearly proposed that the project’s success dependslargely on the success of decision-making, decision-making success dependson the accuracy of the data analysis. And it provides the advice how toenhance data analysis capabilities of the project team.Third, this paper builds a project decision-making based on data analysismethods. This method is based on decision-making framework templates anddecision-making processes, combined with two kinds of mature andcommonly used data analysis model, the multi-objective decision-making anddecision tree, and four commonly used decision criteria. The decision-makingmethod is a scientific, structured, process-oriented decision-making methodwhat provides a reliable scientific basis for decision making for decision-making.Finally, this paper describes in details the application of thedecision-making methods through an actual case of the project proposalselection decision in the television media content management platformproject. And compared with the television’s original decision, it proved thatthe method is effective and scientific. The method can help project managerscollect decision-making elements as complete as possible and systematicthinking from a different perspective, greatly improved the correctness of thedecision-making and project success rate.
