As technology and people’s living standards advanced, consumers have moredemanding for product diversification and personalization that leading to increasinglyshorter of product cycles. As a result, the waste products are becoming more and more. Atthe same time, with the growing environmental awareness and regulations, many countriesare beginning to join the reverse logistics business activities for recycling andremanufacturing.As the study on reverse logistics in china started late, the research and services forreverse logistics is still in infancy, it’s difficult to find a truly effective method to provideguidance for government and enterprises.A company is a global leading provider of electronic products, electronic products ismore prone to generate reverse logistics due to its own characteristics andre-manufacturing is the main way of dealing with the recovery stocks. If A companycannot effectively manage inventory, it will result in inventory backlog, while managementcosts will increase. If A company can manage inventory with scientific and rational way, itwill reduce inventory and supply price as well as improve products quality and servicequality.In this paper, we summarize the development of reverse logistics theoretical and thedevelopment status for domestic and foreign enterprises, the basic theory of the reverselogistics for electronic products are also reviewed. Secondly, by analyzing the functionsand processes of A company’s reverse logistics management system, we can get twomainly problems, one is existing DOA product reverse logistics processes are complex; theother is no EOL product recycling. In this paper, two solutions for the problemssummarized. By logistics outsourcing and redesigning recycling center processing powerto improve the DOA reverse logistics process. For EOL products, Reverse logisticsoperation mode can be selected by AHP.Practice has proved that the DOA reverse logistics processes and operating cycle canbe reduced through the logistics outsourcing and strengthening of the capacity of therecycling center. For EOL products, we get that the TPT is the best mode of reverselogistics and prove that A company can achieve the good brand image and social benefits.
