The Study Of The Green Building Assessment System

Two major challenges facing humanity in the21st century are the resource crisis andclimate change. The building played an important role in these two challenges; it is a resourceguzzler and the largest manufacturer of greenhouse gases. Therefore, to develop the greenbuilding is an important of the green economy and low-carbon economy. It is in line with ourenergy conservation and protection of the environment policy needs. Carrying out study ongreen building rating system has the practical guidance-significance.Firstly, the paper collates and reviews the research status of domestic and internationalgreen building rating system. It analyses the problem “what is green building” as the startingpoint, and comes out the meaning of green building. The analysis derived the sevencharacteristics of the green building and laid the theoretical foundation for the establishmentof evaluation index system. And it analyzes the existing problems in China’s green buildingdevelopment, and lays the cortical foundation behind the establishment of indicator of body. Itfocuses on five inadequacies of the previous evaluation system: ignore the economic factors;not consider green building standard of timeliness, that is to achieve the standards but notmeet user’s requirements; lack of integrity; one-sided emphasis on a single technologyapplication; ignore the importance of building requirements and preferment’s; ignore thedesign of energy-saving. It determines the idea of conservation goals to protect the body, andbuilds a series of targeted assessment of indicators to measure the construction of theecological, economic, and social and functional, as will as the evaluation of the technicalquality of the process of achieving these goals and process quality, to ensure "green quality"which of the entire building construction from design to operation and management. The articuses the level point’s system analysis evaluation method, and selects the cases to analyze andevaluate, and gives a few suggestions for the establishment and improvement of China’s greenbuilding rating system.
