The21st century is the age of knowledge-based economy and the talent as themain force. All sections of competition for talent is essential worldwide. As adeveloping country, China is at a disadvantage in talent introduction, personneltraining, talent management etc. Severe brain drain has raised new challenges to theChinese enterprise management and human resources practitioners.HK Company is a large private oil refining petrochemical enterprise. The braindrain had a definite impact on the stable development of the enterprise. This articleaims to explore the problem of talent turnover of Shandong HK company by the useof survey analysis, and to look into the main reason for the loss of HK talent in termsof degree of satisfaction in occupational planning, team coordination andcommunication, the company management, working environment and safety and thesatisfaction of welfare policy, to provide a basis for reducing the company’s employeeturnover rate.Several conclusions flow from this study. First, brain drain of HK companypresents diversification more obviously, on one hand, the reasons of employeeturnover show significant diversity; on the other hand, in terms of the exiting persons,their reasons for leaving are also showing more obvious diversification. Therefore, thecompany should adopt systematic and targeted measures. Second, in the eyes of theresults, the main reasons for the brain drain of HK focused on three aspects: thesatisfaction of occupational planning, the satisfaction of team coordination andcommunication, and the satisfaction of working environment and safety. As a result,we offer some solutions from the following aspects: the staff career developmentplanning, shaping corporate culture and improvement of the work environment.
