In the past few years, m any ports have beenworking on the electronic system of tally. By using the experiences of foreign ports,we have developed a new system of tally according to the situa tion of Tianjin PortNO.1harbor operating company.The new tally system focuses on the f unction of docum ents dealing. The tallyclerks will put all the inf ormation such as load ing&unloading data which used to beprocessed m anually in to the ta lly system. Then the s ystem will process all theproduction information. By using the system and analyzing the date, we can not onlysimplify the procedure but also meet the need of information query.After the cargo is unloaded on the yards, ta lly clerks will put the information inthe system to for m an electronic shift wh ich includes the nature of the cargo. Theafterwards tally work s of the carg o will be based on the information put in to thesystem before. By keeping track of the info rmation of the cargo, it will save a lot oftime of tally.By systemizing the information of shifts and transforming the data into graphs,the information of production will easily be understood. The data of the system whichare memorized in the server will e asily be inquired and used by the m anagementpeople.The procedures as loading and unloadi ng will f ollow the instruc tions of thesupervisor. Also we could use the system to get information for data processing to doa deeper analysis. We can use the system to check all the procedures of the cargoes ofa vessel, also we could check all the information of the cargoes from one yards.The tally system can deliveries the production instructions in tim e, flat theprocedures, simplify the manual operation and reinforce the data processing. By usethe new system, we could im prove the pr oduction efficiency and capability. All theimprovements will lay the root for further improvements of ports services. |
