With the continuous development of the social science and technology, people’sdemand of the living conditions becomes higher and higher,the manufacturing of modern society has become the main pillar of national economicdevelopment, But the fierce competition of the industry makes the profit of theenterprises in the manufacturing become lower and lower, It enforce the manager ofthe enterprise, try their best to improve the business strategy in order to enlarge theprofit, As for companies whose main business is manufacturing, The implementationof production planning management and control has a direct impact on the company’sprofit. This paper selects manufacturing for mass customization production consistingmainly of company M as the research object, on the production planning and controlsystem and processes carried out a detailed analysis and improvement research.First analyzed and diagnosed the production mode of operation of the CompanyM, analyzed the characteristic of the productions as well as the problems in theprocess of the product. Then, analyzed the production planning and control system ofCompany M and clearly pointed out the problem. Using the current theory ofproduction planning and control at home and abroad, such as MRPII (manufacturingResource Planning), JIT (just mode of production), and TOC (theory of Constraints).The paper has put forward the improvement of the inadequacies of the productionplanning and control system of Company M, and evaluated the results andsummarized the significance of the improvement measures.Using the combination application of a variety of production planning andcontrol system and the continuous improvement of the production planning process, ithas effectively improved the efficiency of the production operation of Company M, asto effectively increase the inventory turnover, improve the delivery accuracy, andreduce the production costs.
