Research On Production Planning Of Mass Customization Production Based On Modularization

The target of Mass Customization is how to meet individual customers'needs according to cost and time in mass production. Now the research on Mass Customization mainly focuses on technology angle, which from production management is very singularly. Production planning as the core of the production management system, it will reduce the cost and heighten the response speed effectively if we can make reasonable production planning method according to the trait of Mass Customization product. Regarding on this aim, research on production planning of Mass Customization based on modularization is put forward.Mainly, we have studied the three portions of Master Production Schedule, Assembly Planning and Job-Shop Scheduling on Mass Customization. Firstly, according to the traits of Mass Customization production, we use a production configuration method based on modular production family, which provides a foundation for the making of production planning. Secondly, the Master Production Schedule of Mass Customization production is divided to the Master Production Schedule of the general module, the optional customizable module and the completely customizable module. We make the corresponding Pre-Introjection method for the general module and the optional customizable module, and make a introjection method based on the PRI of the orders for the completely customizable module. For the Assembly Planning of Mass Customization production, we form a modularization assembly cooperation team, which make the imbalance question into balance question. Then, we use a Genetic Algorithm to study the problem of Mass Customization assembly line balancing with the total idle time and overloading time of the minimized assembly line as the target function. we study the Job-Shop Scheduling of Mass Customization through set up Group Technology Cells by Group Technology. At last, we do the corresponding demonstration study which takes the Xi'an XiKai enterprise for the example.The main contribution of the paper is to divide the study object of the production planning from the product to the module which is composed of products, makecorresponding planning methods according to the traits of the different modules, which can heighten the response speed of the Mass Customization enterprise. The end of the study has some theoretic value and practical significance.
