Process industry implemented mass customization (MC) brings new pressure and challenge to upper-lower members in supply chain. For process industry in the core position of supply chain, it is limited that the production mode of its supplier is make to stock (MTS) or make to order (MTO). Based on the process industry manufacturer who carried out MC, this thesis sets the supplier driven by the output of Customer Order Decoupling Point (CODP) as the research object and optimal method for two-period supplier production planning was analyzed using postpone strategy and production planning theories.First of all, analyzing characteristics of process industry carried out MC, classifying different supplier-manufacture position into serial and parallel modes, two-period supplier production mode is given using parallel supplier postpone strategy, that is, adds another CODP to the inner supplier and divides production process into two period----before position of CODP, the first-period production process mainly focuses on forecast which can be adjusted according to sharing information with manufacture; after position of CODP, the second-period production process mainly focuses on order of manufacture, and sets up stock in CODP at the same time.Secondly, matching the mass production part of manufacture and using feedback variables, main production planning (MPS) optimal method of first-period production is studied, by which its forecast can be improved; considering lead time and cost control, MPS optimal model of the second-period is established and three model deductions are obtained after mass numerical examples, that is, production of supplier can be delayed by delay punishment cost every unit, the real capability used in production can be balanced as finished time increased, and some products are produced in advance results from the limitation of production capability.Finally, both order management and production capability are explored based on two-period supplier production implemented.
