With the development of economic globalization progress, enterprises are facing increasinglycomplex market environment. More and more enterprises realize that effective project implementationis an important measure to transfer corporate strategy into actual achievements, to gain a competitiveadvantage by meeting market demand quickly.Due to the characteristics of the products, auto parts enterprises have launched projectmanagement activities earlier than most of other enterprises. While in an overview, China’s auto partsenterprises’ project management level is still low. How to evaluate the level of project managementmaturity, to figure out the shortage and weakness of existing enterprise project management, todevelop appropriate improvement plans, for improving the project management level and enhance thecore competitiveness of enterprises, will has a very important practical significance for developingChina auto parts industry and even the entire auto industry.Based on above background, the thesis conduct a systematic research on auto parts enterpriseproject management maturity model, which guided by existing project management theory, based onthe analysis of existing project management maturity models, with a combination of theory researchand empirical studies, a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, and combining thecharacteristics of China’s auto parts enterprises to construct a suitable project management maturitymodel for China auto parts enterprise.Firstly, introduce the background,purpose and meaning of the research, and also have a cardingof the research’s content and ideas.Secondly, have a literature review of existing project management maturity model and conductcomparative analysis on existing models’ characteristics and shortage, which laid the theoreticalfoundation for the subsequent model construction.Thirdly, combining the characteristics of China’s auto parts enterprise project management, contruct the project management maturity model for auto parts enterprises, which includingarchitecture of model, evaluation index system and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Finally, following the application steps of auto parts enterprise project management maturitymodel, conduct an empirical research on a sample enterprises, which evaluate its project managementmaturity level, and also provide improvement recommendation for its weaknesses point. Therationality and operability of the model is verified.
