With the rapid economic development and financial market’s opening up,China has become one of the strategic target markets of many internationalfinancial giants. Bank A also places China as its key market in the new"super regional bank" strategy. Bank A China strives to become top4foreignbanks in China. Bank A developed slowly in China in the past ten years andthe current operation platform can not accommodate its new bank strategy.How to integrate its current operations and build up a solid operationplatform to support its business and bank strategy becomes one of bank AChina’s paramount important tasks.The thesis makes reference to the theory and practices of BusinessProcess Reengineering (BPR) and dives into bank A China’s operation toattempt to propose an analysis system and framework for bank A China’sintegrated operations. It aims to provide assistance in setting bank A China’sintegrated operation strategy and building up the core operationcompetitiveness.Firstly, the thesis introduces the research background and purpose andthen describes the theory of BPR and the experience in European andAmerican banks. After that, the thesis makes introduction to bank A China’scurrent situation. It analyzes bank A China’s current operation status fromoperation process, management structure, services channel and operation system platform perspectives. It draws conclusion that bank A must integrateits China operations by further analyzing its resources and the needs fromoperating environment, strategy and customers.Through normative and positive study, the thesis puts forward threegoals, five principles and four respect of bank A China’s integrated operationstrategy. Then it proposes bank A China’s integrated operation strategy onprocess, management structure, service channel and system platform.
