Urban tourism competitiveness theory is along with thedevelopment of the theory of competitiveness and continuousdevelopment,with the rise of the tourism industry. Urban tourism begansto become an important option for people travelling,the competition ofbetween tourist city also is becoming more and more fierce,and with thetourism competitiveness of the city is more and more noticed by thetheoretical circle。In recent years, study on urban tourism competitivenessis mostly based on competitive advantage theory, tourism system theory,economics, geography and related factors of affecting it,which hasestablished urban tourism competitiveness evaluation index systembasing on its corresponding principle. According to the present situation,this paper studies on the urban tourism competitiveness with theinnovative perspective. Taking the Lanzhou city as the background, thispaper finds out related factors of affecting the city tourismcompetitiveness under the perspective of tourists, then confirms itsevaluative dimension, and puts forward the correlative strategy andsuggestion of the tourism competitiveness of Lanzhou city.First, this paper summarizes the city tourism, urban tourismcompetitiveness and other related theory,it designes questionnaire andmakes the tourism competitiveness evaluation norm according todifferent gender, age, education, occupation and income of tourists in Lanzhou. Second, this paper analyses the questionnaire data reliabilityand validity, finds the city of the evaluation dimension of the tourismcompetitiveness by the factor analysis method, and constructs theevaluation of urban tourism competitiveness hypothesis model in somegiven hypothesis. At the same time, this paper analyses city tourismcompetitiveness dimensions with the statistical software (SPSS18.0)operating the questionnaire data, verifies the correctness of the researchhypotheses, and concludes that each dimension influences urban tourismcompetitiveness evaluation. Finally, this paper gets city tourismcompetitiveness evaluation index weight and dimensions by means ofregression analysis, and puts forward the strategy and suggestion of thetourism competitiveness of ascension in the light of the Lanzhou citypresent situation of tourism competitiveness.
