With the rapid changes of the global economic environment and market competitionintensifies, more and more enterprises have recognized the important impact of employeeengagement on a series of business performance indicators, such as business productivity,customer satisfaction, employee turnover and profit margin. The evaluation anddevelopment of employee engagement has been in full swimming in many enterprises.This study is based on the consideration of the status quo which theoretical researchlags behind, the methods of the evaluation an development on employee engagement aremessy and lack of scientific system, this stydy selects a particular type of enterprise——state-ownedenterprises as the object of study. Then the paper includes systematic reviewand analysis of relevant research literature on the engagement of definition, structure,measurement and influencing factors, also puts forward the purpose of this thesis and theresearch process, makes clear the design of this thesis. Reference to various andauthoritative measurable models of engagement at home and abroad, according to theactual situation of state-ownedenterprises, this paper establishes the engagementquestionnaire which is suitable for employees of state-ownedenterprises. Building thedimensional structure model of employee engagement preliminarily, Analysing the overallstatus and level of employee engagement, investigating the impact factors ofstate-ownedemployee engagement.Through the demonstation and arrangement of the statistical analysis of data, thispaper draws these conclusions as follows:Firstly, the state-ownedemployee engagement structure model is divided into twolevels, six dimensions. The first level is the word engagement and organizationalengagement. The second level is six dimensions, they are work-behavioral engagement,work-cognitive dimension, work-emotional dimension, work-emotional dimension,organization-behavioral engagement, organization-cognitive engagement, organization-emotional engagement.Secondly, employee engagement of the state-owned enterprises overall in the mid toupper level, showing a good trend. Then investigating the relationship between thedifferent demographic statistical characteristics and the employee engagement ofstate-owned enterprises.Then, this study investigates differert influencing factors of on the state-ownedenterprises employee engagement. These factors from the four variables, namely, the workitself, the influence of work groups, organizational mechanisms of management andorganizational leadership, these variables is measured by eight indicators, such as workcharacteristics, quality of life, management procedures of organization, salary, team,organizational climate, occupational development, superiors.Finally, based on the theorical and empirical research, this study builds a liftingmechanism of state-owned enterprises employee engagement. State-owned enterprisesemployee engagement strategies and recommendations are proposed to increase from threeangles of the staff, middle managers and social.
