Training, which plays a very important role in modern enterprisehuman resource system, restricts and influents the continuingdevelopment of one company. In the context of global economicdeveloping, it’s easy to find that the domestic companies are facingthe challenge from multi-national groups as well as facing thecompetition from the local similars. This kind of “to be attacked frontand rear” phenomenon is particularly obviously exists in domesticSMEs.It is a very serious problem that how to optimize and developenterprise’s training resources and further improve and modify thetraining effect to establish a talent team which can provides a betterfoundation for the inter-company competition based in talentcompetition in21st century.As the economic and financial center of China, Shanghai attractsa huge amount of SMEs. And based on the geographic and politicaladvantages, the SMEs in Shanghai could make use of the moderntraining idea and method in business better than the SMEs in otherregions. But unfortunately, lots of problems are found in practice.What were found through this research by discussion andquestionnaire is there exist some main problems in the SMEs’ trainingpractice in Shanghai includes no enough demand analysis, no cleargoal, no scientific estimate and no respect to local advantages.Suggestions and strategies are given according to the above as makestandard demand analysis, set clear training goal, modify after-trainingestimate and make use of local resources.Theoretically, the research, which is based on adult learning theory,enterprise training theory and learning type organization theory, drawslessons from some representative emerging theories in sociology,psychology and pedagogy and enrich the theory of training. Practically, the research gives reference to modify and develop thetraining process of SMEs in Shanghai.
