As China is gradually restructuring from the ’factory of the world’ to the’ world market’,China administrator and consumers increased their expects that organization need to takemore social responsibility on product quality, security, human rights and environmentalprotection. Most companies have been trying to use different methods to render theperformance of its social responsibility, especially in the labour-intensive enterprises: shortsurvival time, weak competitiveness, pursuing short-term benefits.The corporate socialresponsibility headed by human rights issues is increasingly universal and prominent,whichhas become the bottlenecks of the enterprise’s sustainable development. Especially with theoutbreak of the global economic crisis, these enterprises will be more difficult to survive, thiscauses the social responsibility confidence and belief accumulated in the period of rapideconomic growth was cut. To protect the interests of the interested parties and improve thecompetitiveness of labour-intensive corporate social responsibility, the analysis&evaluationon current situation of the corporate social responsibility becomes urgent and important.SAI initiated and united with other European&American international organizations todevelop SA8000social accountability international standard in1997. The standard is the firstethics standards in the world. The purpose is to ensure that the suppliers of the supply chainmust take into account performance of its social responsibility to be in compliance withrequirements of the SA8000standard while obtaining higher profits。SA8000standard applies to every industries and companies of different sizes all over theworld. It is a standard which would be used for third-party certification bodies auditing.Because it represents the interests of companies and obtains worldwide support of mostorganizations, coupled with the global social responsibility from the public and consumerpressure, SA8000certification are highly recognized. It reflects the expectations on businessdevelopment and trends in today’s society. It provides appropriate mode of operation ofcommunity organizations in deep level.XH shoe company is a typical labor-intensive enterprises and treated as the studyingobjective. Combined with current corporate social responsibility, SA8000standard and theinterested parties theory, this article conducts in-depth exploration and research to theimplementation of SA8000standard requirement in this organization. Based on presententerprise status, author conducted the analysis to the typical issues in fulfilling SA8000standard requirements with the problem-resolution approach, and established an solutionprogramme and recommendations for organization. The article has great practical meaning on lots of aspects, eg. reduces the dissatisfaction of related party, and re-obtains recognization ofthe interested parties, prompt the enterprise to be aware of the importance of the enterprisesocial responsibility in order to achieve sustainable development. At the same time, thisstudy would provide an reference for other labor-intensive enterprise in implementation ofSA8000standards.
