Research On Wacun Hydropower Project Financing Strateg

China is a country with high power consumption, and the hydropower industry ranks first in the world。With abundant water resource, the development of large hydropower station is optimistic, and the scale of investment and financing for that are relatively large. However, in recent years。financing condition for China’s hydropower industry is not that optimistic。Therefore, to solve the capital problem of hydropower enterprises in order to accelerate the development of hydropower industry, is one of the main factors。In this paper, on the basis of the theory of financing, analyzing the hydropower industry financing problems and needs for financing, pointing out that the features for the industry are large investment。long term, high equipment cost, but stable income,, so the use of direct financing(equity, bond) and indirect financing(loan, trust) and other financing method(BOT, PPP, lease, ABS) could be utilized.With the WaChun hydropower enterprise as an example, the paper raises some suggestions in the process of financing problems, including finding the right financing way。 using different financing methods in different phases of the project, strengthening the management of financing to maximize the effectiveness of capital to realize the sustainable development of enterprise。Lastly, the paper summarizes the investment and financing strategy, figuring out that in the process of highly development of China’s economy, the reform of hydropower system is carried forward as well,。the financing approaches are diversified.
