As one of the important input in the agricultural production, fertilizer plays a key part in increasing production. Especially chemical fertilizer, its contributing rate for the world’s production yields is even50%. However, with chemical fertilizer applied more and more extensively, farmers take chemical fertilizer more important than organic fertilizer, its side—effect is emerging, such as its contamination to the field, water and so on, and the utilization efficiency of chemical fertilizer is low. At the same time, with the development of the agricultural production, the stock raising is also developing fast. The dejection from the droves contain ample organism and microelement, which can improve soil fertility and the quality of the production effective when take it as fertilizer. The stock raising in Jiangsu province is turning around large scale, and induces a dual predicament. On one side, too much dejection has become a burden to the culturist, on the other side, some farmers cannot find enough organic fertilizer when they need. As a result, the market for bargain organic fertilizer maybe setup. Since2006, the Chinese government has made allowance policies of the organic fertilizer to drive the market’s developing, which is significant to introduce farmers with scientific application of fertilizer.Based on the data collected in Yangzhong, Haian and Liuhe in Jiangsu province, the thesis analyzes the impact factors on farmer—buying and using organic fertilizer. On the one side, it analyzes the farmers’ actual practice of fertilization by means of descriptive statistics, and the impact factors on farmer—buying and using organic fertilizer with the Logistic Model; on the other side, it analyzes the different farmers’ willingness to buy the organic fertilizer in the future. We draw some conclusions from our analysis:(1) The organic fertilizer is highly appraised by farmers, but the proportion of the farmers who purchase organic fertilizer isn’t high, actually, only counts for37.5%.(2) Farmers’inclination varies on fertilizing certain crop, they tend to fertilize rice, vegetables and other economic crops with chemical and organic fertilizer.(3)The main factors that influence the farmers’ desire to purchasing organic fertilizer are:familial agricultural operation and farmland status.(4) Farmers’ conception of organic fertilizer affects their purchasing on organic fertilizer.(5) Farmland acreage, price of crops, changes of fertilizer’s price and compensation from government will affect farmers’purchase will of organic fertilizer to a great extent.Based on the above analysis, the thesis’s final political advice is:The government could encourage farmers fertilizing properly by methods of controlling fertilizer’s price and compensating for those who buy organic fertilizer.
