With the accelerated pace of China’s reform and opening up, competition amongenterprises is intensifying. Human resources directly determine the outcome of businesscompetition. As the most important and scarce resource in human resources, undoubtedly,youth human resources become the deciding factor in the future development of enterprises. Forhow to make young people enhance their sense of belonging and confidence of enterprises,improve their production skills and fully release the productive potential, help them find the bestconjunction point between individual development and business development, undoubtedly,training of youth employees is an indispensable part of enterprises development. It is necessaryto have a good training program for young employees. The quality of training programs largelydetermines the quality of training effects. The purpose of this paper is to research on designingeffective training program. A competency model will be applied to a training programdesigning in a specific case, in an attempt to improve the effectiveness of the program, give playto their advantages to address the problems of domestic training program design.This research is based on competency model as the core of young employee training.According to their different characteristics and their work on the two core position clans ofmarketing, product research and development associated highly with enterprises strategy in HCompany, employees are divided into three levels: primary, medium and high. For differentskills and capacity gap of young employees of three levels, training objectives and importantpoints shall be different and be the axis of skills and ability development of leveled employees,so as to design training topics and courses to meet the current situation of young employees in HCompany. With the design and implementation of the program, training of job skills andprofessional competence would become an example of application of the Capability Model, andoffer reference for the core position clan of young employee training in car enterprises of China.
