A Research For Urban Competitiveness In Our Country Based On The Ecological Economy

City, an important place for human, has become an inevitable product with the social and economic development.Urban development plays a prominent role for the society. The level of urban development has become an index of the national strength, as a result, most of countries enhance the development of cities,not only the economy, but also the society、 ecology and so on.With the increase of population and the development of the economy, the number of metropolis rockets. The former function of the city is put under severe test. How to biuld a city which is not only suitable for the human life but also the economy in order to improve the comprehensive competity, is an important theory topic.This thesis arranges the research of the papers writen by the authors of domestic and abroad, discovering the related theories, methods and suggestions. Mercer, as a global famous consulting firm,points out that Kobe in Japan is the only Asia city named the world’s eco-city in "The2010survey of global city life quality".Through the typical analysis of Kobe,this paper draws advanced experience of the development of ecological city, which can provide references for our eco-city development.Beijing、Shanghai and Guangzhou, with special historical conditions, state policy and geographical location, their urban scale and pace of development rank top three in China. There were12cities in5provinces named the first state pilot eco-city in China, such as Qingdao of Shandong province、Hangzhou of Zhejiang province、Suzhou of Jiangsu province、 Jincheng of Shanxi province、Guilin of Guangxi province.The thesis not only researches each city, but also takes Beijing, Shanghai、Guangzhou as a whole to summarize competitiveness of developed cities;takes Qingdao、Suzhou、Hangzhou、Jincheng、Guilin as a whole to summarize competitiveness of the eco-cities. It discovers that ecological development plays a more important role for the developed cities but economic development plays a more important role for the pilot eco-cities through the main ingredient analysis.Furthermore, it puts forward that with the development of cities, the effect of economic factors for the city competitive power is weaken, but the ecological factors are strengthened, so our cities should pay more attention to improving ecological development when improving economic development.Through the horizontal comparison of the three developed cities、 the five pilot eco-cities and learning the global ecological urban development experience, it puts forward rational suggestions suitable for national conditions:pay more attention to urban ecology;analyse and make a reservation of the city;develop ecological economy adjusting to local conditions.
